About Me
I am a full time freelance photographer based in London with over thirty years professional experience.
I specialise in producing imagery for design agencies, corporate companies and publishing companies, whether it be an in depth editorial profile, creative portraits or an annual report. I relish capturing great imagery to allow clients to communicate their core messages and brand values. Allied to this is my overall ability, with thirty years of professional experience, to get the best out of ‘real’ people in ‘real’ situations. The empathy with, and understanding of, people and place is key to all my work, both commercial and personal.
Challenge me with a location and a brief and I will bring everyone on board to deliver the pictures you need. Photographing portraits, working with the environment, wether it is just me or my wider production team, I can bring out the best in any given situation to produce powerful, creative and communicative photography.
I continue to pursue my own documentary art photography with a specialism in photographing the changing British social landscape. My ‘Estate’ photography, from my early career, has been widely exhibited and highly acclaimed since it was published in my first monograph in 2015. My new series 'Provision', focuses on the lost ideals of the post war consensus manifest in British modernist architecture. My new 320 page photo book, 'Provision - Architecture of the Post War Consensus' with 162 colour images was published in March 2025 and is now available via my shop.
I am a member of the Association of Photographers.
